9 July 2023 saw the christening of “JSP Løjt”

9 July 2023 saw the christening of “JSP Løjt”, one of the brand new MPP cargo vessels that the Jebsen Shipping Partners (JSP), the MF Jebsen Group’s shipping arm, commissioned to build and just launched this year. The christening ceremony was held in Aabernaa, Denmark, which is the hometown of the Jebsen family, and the ceremony saw significant turnout from representatives of the family as well as residents of the town. The ship’s name Løjt is to commemorate our late Chairman Markus Jebsen, who grew up on the Løjt peninsula near Aabenraa.
